Ancient Paths Midwifery and Family Birth Center is located in Chino, CA and offers home and birth center deliveries, as well as water births.  The focus of our care is on the safety, health, and the needs of the birthing mother and baby, while helping to create a comfortable, personal, sacred, and peaceful setting.  Your care will have a holistic approach, with diet, nutrition, natural remedies and stress reduction to support and sustain a healthy pregnancy.  We will get to know you by spending time with you at prenatal visits and offer skilled and loving presence at your birth.
Because we believe stress reduction is such an integral part of healthy pregnancy, we include massage therapy into our birth packages!   Midwifery care that is physiologically-based and embraces the entire family...mind, body and spirit!

Our services include laboratory testing, ultrasound, well-woman care (including pap smears and cervical cap fitting), preconception counseling, childbirth education, massage, natural family planning classes, doulas and more!  We offer support for VBAC mothers. Plus, we're one of the few birth centers and midwifery practices that include the Ca Newborn Screening program - no taking your 2 day old baby to the pediatrician for the test Rx followed by a trip to the hospital for the test.  We do it for you!

Midwife Lori is the married mother of four children. After working in the nursing field for many years, she returned to her first love which is supporting women and babies.  She feels that it is important for families to have options where their choices are respected and where babies are safe from the effects of drugs and other interventions.  Lori has been serving birthing women in the Inland Empire/Orange County/Eastern Los Angeles area of California since 1997.
